Who We Are: We are professional and aspiring professional photographers who gather from across eastern Oklahoma for education, fellowship and public service. INPPA is A 501c6 organization that is affiliated with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Professional Photographers of Oklahoma (PPOK). Through these and local programs our members further their education and abilities to serve their public and their business.
What We Do: The Indian Nations Professional Photographers Association (INPPA) holds monthly meetings featuring professional development speakers on a wide range of topics, including photography fundamentals, marketing, Photoshop, and specialty subjects. Our annual print competition takes place each November, and we celebrate the year’s achievements with a holiday party and awards banquet in December. Throughout the year, INPPA also hosts special guest speakers from across the country, as well as fundraisers and social events. Scholarships are occasionally offered to support memberships in INPPA, PPOK, or PPA. In addition, our members volunteer their time and talents to community charitable initiatives selected by our board of directors.
When We Meet: We meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. Typically, we meet at Tulsa Tech, Lemley Campus, at the Client Services building, 3638 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa. Occasionally, locations will vary. Check the events tab for more information.
How You Can Join: Membership is open to professional and aspiring photographers, their staff and spouses. Levels of membership and dues vary. Dues are collected each January. Each new member must agree to and sign a code of ethics. Students of photography are also welcome. Click "join us" below or go to the membership tab and click "join" to go to our application form.
