“Little lights, big look - getting a studio look on location with off camera flash"
Join INPPA members and spend 4hrs with master photographer Sean Capshaw as he explains, demonstrates and works one-on-one with you to better utilize your equipment.
Sean has been photographing professionally since 2005 and earned his master photographer degree from PPA in 2015. After 10 years in the very competitive Southern California wedding market, he learned to light his clients very quickly with a minimal setup and in unpredictable conditions. Learn to not be intimidated by shooting in non optimal conditions and under tight timelines.
Please bring your camera, and one or two off camera light sources (portable) and light stands for those off camera flashes. Be sure you have some way to fire a flash off camera. You may also bring modifiers but if you are bringing large items like softboxes or umbrellas you may want to have someone to hold that equipment in case of wind. we will be moving and working quickly so don’t bring more than you can carry. If you do not have or use off camera flash, you are still welcome to attend but may not be able to try the techniques we learn during the class
