Leslie Hoyt, M.Photog., Cr., CPP
Award-winning photographer Leslie Hoyt has a boutique portrait studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has earned her Master Photographer and Craftsman degrees from Professional Photographers of America, is a Certified Professional Photographer, and is a PPA Approved Juror.
Her passion is to connect with people and to tell their stories through images that portray them as they uniquely are. She works with families and children as they mark monumental moments in their personal histories, and she creates lasting images that evoke emotions and memories.
Leslie is fascinated with the technical side of photography, and cares a lot about the details-perfect light, posing, and composition-and loves the post-processing aspect as well. She is constantly striving to learn more about various aspects of the art and craft of photography by attending industry classes and seminars, and also enjoys judging photography competitions.
Leslie is a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America, American Society of Photographers, Professional Photographers of Oklahoma, and the Indian Nations Professional Photographers Association. She has been both INPPA and Oklahoma Master Photographer of the Year. Her work has been featured locally on magazine covers, and in Professional Photographer Magazine. Her family portraits were also seen on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Leslie received a Kodak Gallery award, and has created merit and loan images in PPA’s International Photographic Competition, where she has earned Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond medals in that competition. She has twice been a finalist at Imaging USA for Children’s Portrait in the Grand Imaging Awards.
