"The Anatomy of a Composite Portrait"
This program will follow Curtis' workflow of creative composite photos beginning with a simple portrait shot on gray seamless paper. He will go through his global adjustments in Lightroom, sourcing of other composite elements and will culminate with the construction of a composite portrait using layer masks, blending modes and retouching techniques in Photoshop.
Curtis' bio:
Curtis is a veteran and retired from the Federal Air Marshal Service after a full career in law enforcement. He has now stepped out from behind the badge and is an award-winning portrait artist with a quaint studio located in the bustling Rose District of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. His photography awards include 2019 and 2022 INPPA Photographer of the Year, 2021 PPOK Co-Photographer of the Year, and 2022 PPOK Photographer of the Year. Curtis received his Master of Photography degree from PPA this year.
